I recently stayed at Hotel Thermen Mineraal for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, being equidistant between Antwerp and Brussels with easy access to both by train. Mechelen, a charming town, was only a short drive away. The value for money was exceptional, with free access to the clean and diverse spa facilities, including a spacious outdoor area for sunbathing. The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of choices. I have always enjoyed my stays at this hotel.

Convenient location next to the restaurant, in between Belgium and the Netherlands, making it easy to explore both countries. the restaurant is nearby for all your meals, plus you're surrounded by beautiful nature 🌳.

Highlight of my European trip: nude swimming in both indoor and outdoor pools! But of course, who wouldn't want to enjoy a drink in the bar or dine in the restaurant in their bathrobe? The only downside was the unreliable and overly expensive cab service.

All kids under 12 loved the "Splash Zone", a fun and exciting water play area. They couldn't get enough of the water slides and splash pads! It kept them entertained for hours.

In my wife's opinion, the children's menu at the restaurant could have had more variety.

Great spa facilities with several options to relax. the outdoor pool and jacuzzi were amazing! the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. the breakfast buffet was good with a decent selection of food to choose from.

This hotel had a great location, just a short distance from where I needed to be for my business trip. The free access to the pool and sauna facilities was a definite plus, with various saunas and hot tubs to relax in. The spacious rooms were also comfortable with great amenities, such as a big bathroom and free and stable Wi-fi.

The breakfast times were not convenient for my schedule, with service offered only beginning after 8:30 am. Additionally, the staff seemed to have trouble understanding my need to depart early in the morning, leading to waiting times of 30 minutes or more to unlock the main entrance door. There was a disconnection in fulfilling guest needs and it was inconvenient.
